I love this time of year when I can reflect back on all of the fun photos I made of my clients over the course of this past year. 2017 was a blast! I feel blessed for all the new relationships I made throughout the year and for being able to tell candid, creative stories through photographs! Here are some of my favorite Greener Visuals Photography Best of 2017 Portrait Photography that I made during this trip recent trip around the sun. I look forward to what adventures await in 2018.
I packed up my cameras and traveled northeast to the city of Seattle to make some “Day in the Life” family photographs of Kim and Daniel and their two girls. Upon my arrival into Seattle, we decided to load up the Subaru and make a day trip north to the small coastal town of Bellingham Washington (near the Canadian border) where we explored the beaches, rainforests, parks and the surrounding community.
I had the pleasure of photographing some friends Lacey and Rory for their maternity portrait session here in Bozeman, Montana. These two were so excited to have their photos created. We will be doing part two later this year when their little one gets a little bigger. For this part, we decided to hike around the “M” Trail at the edge of the Bridger Mountains just outside of town. The evening light made for not only a lovely walk but also prime light for making some cool photographs. We had a great time. Here are some of my favorite images from the day.
A few weeks back I drove out to Helena to meet with my wedding clients Marissa and Tyler to make some fun engagement photos of them at the Old Shooting Range Trailhead just outside of town.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dani and John to make some fun engagement photos of them out at the Missouri Breaks State Park in central Montana. Check out my favorite photos from the day.
These wedding photos are from a recent fun wedding themed project that I organized in a pinch the other day. Last Tuesday I was talking to my friends Jacy and Matt, owners of Gallatin Valley Botanical, a local organic farm here in Gallatin Valley. I’ve been photographing and supporting their family farm here in Bozeman for years now. They mentioned that they would …
Last week I met up with Kim and Preston at the Lark Hotel in downtown Bozeman where we loaded up into my subaru and headed for the mountains to photograph their engagement photos. These two both work and live in Washington D.C. but were in town to finish up their destination wedding planning details and to do their engagement photo session with me. These two were up for an adventure.
Back in November, I met up with Jessica and Matt to make some family photos of them and their 1-year-old daughter Cora. I made maternity photos of Jessica a while back and now that Cora had been born, she and Matt wanted to get their first family photos for their Christmas cards.
Some favorite photos from the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County’s 2015 holiday party for the kids, their families and the mentors of the program.
I met up with my wedding clients Kiera and Collin in downtown Bozeman for their engagement photo session. I’ll be kicking off my 2016 wedding photography season when I get to document their wedding celebration in early January at the Gallatin River Lodge.
Winter engagement photo session of Heather & Andrew at Hyalite Canyon outside of Bozeman, Montana. I’ll be photographing their 2016 wedding day at Chico Hot Springs next April and while they were in town for Thanksgiving with family, we found a window of time to drive to the nearby majestic rocky mountain canyon.
The other day I made some summer time engagement photos of my wedding clients Courtney & Jordi
I recently photographed Bobbijean and Chris’ engagement photo session at the Triple Tree trailhead in Bozeman Montana.
I had the pleasure of photographing Kerry and Jarod’s engagement photos up around Manhattan and Three Forks Montana
Last week I met up with Samantha & Jonathan for an afternoon winter engagement photo session here in Bozeman. These two Manhattan, Montana natives hired me to photograph their wedding day this upcoming August and wanted to showcase the winter Montana landscape into their engagement photo session. We decided to take advantage of the wonderful winter evening light we’ve been having lately here in the Big Sky country …
Last week had the opportunity to venture out into the surprisingly mild Montana winter weather for a fun afternoon engagement photo session around Bozeman.
A few weeks ago, I got a call from my friend Jessica asking if I would make some maternity photo portraits of her. This will be her first child and she wanted to have herself and her belly documented. Having never photographed a maternity session before, I was intrigued and happily accepted. It was a fun challenge. We got together …
Just got back to Bozeman, Montana after spending the last four days traveling to Chico, California to photograph the destination wedding day of Sara and Jason on their family farm. Wow! Is it August already? Time does fly when you are having fun. What a weekend! I’ve begun editing through and reliving the fun wedding photos of Ali and Drausin’s celebration I made last weekend at the 4 Eagle Ranch in Vail, Colorado.
