I love this time of year when I can reflect back on all of the fun photos I made of my clients over the course of this past year. 2017 was a blast! I feel blessed for all the new relationships I made throughout the year and for being able to tell candid, creative stories through photographs! Here are some of my favorite Greener Visuals Photography Best of 2017 Portrait Photography that I made during this trip recent trip around the sun. I look forward to what adventures await in 2018.
I packed up my cameras and traveled northeast to the city of Seattle to make some “Day in the Life” family photographs of Kim and Daniel and their two girls. Upon my arrival into Seattle, we decided to load up the Subaru and make a day trip north to the small coastal town of Bellingham Washington (near the Canadian border) where we explored the beaches, rainforests, parks and the surrounding community.
A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Paradise Valley Montana Wedding Day of Brita and John along the banks of the Yellowstone River. Unlike most of my wedding I photograph, these two opted for my two hour elopement collection where I focused on documenting their wedding ceremony and making portraits of their friends and family. This summer I had the privilege of making the Yellowstone National Park Wedding Day Photos of Judy and Butch outside Mammoth, Wyoming.
The other day I drove out to the banks of the Madison River to meet up with my friends Sky and Tara for their evening engagement photo session.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding day of Marissa and Tyler in Virginia City, Montana. Here is a preview of some of their wedding photos I made throughout the day. More to come.
I had the pleasure of joining the Rigard Family for some long overdue family portraits at Hyalite Canyon near Bozeman, Montana. Jen and Ryan have been friends of mine for years and I was honored when they hired me to photograph their family. We explored the areas around the reservoir and played around in the evening sun light. I was really pleased with how they turned out. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
I had the pleasure of photographing some friends Lacey and Rory for their maternity portrait session here in Bozeman, Montana. These two were so excited to have their photos created. We will be doing part two later this year when their little one gets a little bigger. For this part, we decided to hike around the “M” Trail at the edge of the Bridger Mountains just outside of town. The evening light made for not only a lovely walk but also prime light for making some cool photographs. We had a great time. Here are some of my favorite images from the day.
I’ve been meaning to post these pics for a while now. A couple months ago, some friends of mine, Ben and Charlotte, approached me about making some fun portraits of them that they could send to their families both here and overseas in Germany and Belgium. They had never had professional portraits taken together and wanted photos that would accurately …
