This past Friday I had the pleasure of photographing the Lake Yellowstone Hotel 125th Anniversary Event in Yellowstone National Park.

The event was in conjunction with the 1ooth year anniversary of the National Park Service. To celebrate the National Historic Landmark designation of the “Grand Old Lady”, the National Park Service held a grand party in the renovated space Friday evening. The historic building recently received a two-year, $28 million facelift. All of the 153 guest rooms, public spaces, dining rooms, and much of the interior were renovated during this time.

I was hired to document the evening festivities and distinguished guests during the Lake Yellowstone Hotel 125th Anniversary Event. It was a lovely time complete with live music, a seven-course meal, and a celebration amongst good people dressed up in traditional black tie affair.
